grace

staring into the green outside the window, a colibri fascinating, but not enough. i sit on a green couch that we found today in the building as I am talking to you.
i thought i was about to think that this was a damn lie. a big lie.
i said, holding the tears back and trying to hide my racing heartbeats in my voice, that it makes me happy to love you. because despite all odds, it is still beautiful to love someone. to have loved like we did. and before the clouds of judgemental thoughts rain on me i run and seek shelter in the beauty of the obscure. it isn't always like we think. the darkest corners of the soul can fulfil you with a rare wild kind of joy that will be unfelt until you dare to protrude them without any light-just with your heart.
it feels good to be hungry when you fast, it feels good to work out, it feels good to practice, it feels good to do anything with all your heart, hunder percent, it feels good to be moved.
the way you say my name in one milli second breaks all the ice I so busily and successfully tried to cool my heart with.
one take of breath and i am drenched with excitement, that kind that you find at trainstations a lot.
with unpreceded grace the sweet sweet melody of Sophie Solomon's violin drips into my heart.
I was about to think it was a damn lie.
but it wasn't my love, my beloved Daniel. it wasn't.
